Britt's Favorite Musicals

I saw Deeds do a list of her favorite Musicals and I wanted to play along too!

Gypsy is one of my all time favorite movies! I loved watching this movie with my grandma when I was a kid! We grew up singing all the songs... 'Ya gotta get a gimic' was one of my favorites!

Thoroughly Modern Millie it is another favorite for sure! I absolutely love this musical and know every song by heart! My favorie quote from the movie is... "My beauty spot!"

I love Sinin' in the Rain! It is so good! Gene Kelly is so amazing! This movie always makes me happy!

I LOVED A Date with Judy when I was a kid! Every time I would visit my grandma I would watch this movie with her over and over again! I absolutely love Jane Powell! I use to play dress up as a kid and I would pretend to be her!




Three Daring Daughters is another Jane Powell favorite of mine! I think she has the most amazing voice!



I loved Sweeney Todd! I absolutely love Johnny Depp! He is such an amazing actor and who knew he was such a great singer?

Celebrity Crushes Part 2

So Last month I did the first round of Celebrity Crushes! It was so fun that I decided that I'm going to do it monthly until Al and I run out of crushes!


I LOVE Johnny Depp! Alex totally doesn't see the appeal!!?? I don't know how you couldn't! Is it weird I found him attractive in Edward Scissorhands too?

Alex is in love with Lacey Chabert! She is so gorgeous! I might be a bit in love with her too! Who didn't love her as Gretchen Weiners!!??

Alessandra Ambrosio is so amazingly gorgeous that she is this months top crush! She is by far the most beautiful Victoria's Secret Model right now! Alex and I both love her!

So cold...

It is so cold today! All I want to do is go tanning so I can get warm! I think I need a vacation somewhere tropical. (hint, hint, Al!) If I were rich I would have this in my home! I know that tanning is bad for you and it causes sick cancer but sometimes its worth it! Today definitely would!

2.You're out to eat; what kind of dressing does he get on his salad? Ranch, But I doubt he would order a salad!

3.What's one food he doesn't like? Tomatoes, he loathes them!

4. You go out to a restaurant, what does he get to drink? A coke! Unless its Pepsi products and then he would order a Mountain Dew!

5. Where did he go to High School? Olympus High

6. What size shoe does he wear? 10.5

7. If he was to collect anything what would it be? He use to collect basketball cards! Cute I know! He has hundreds!

8. What is his favorite type of sanwhich? A garlic burger or a bacon swiss and ranch burger!

9. What would he eat everyday if he could? Fast food of some sort?

10. What is his favorite cereal? He never eats cereal but I would have to say one of his favorites is Fruity Pebbles!

11. What would he never wear? Any BYU, Cubs, or Boston Redsox sports attire! He would rather die than wear any of that clothing for a day!

12. What are his favorite sports teams? The Utah Utes, the Jazz, the Buffalo Bills, and his most favorite of all the St. Louis Cardinals!!

13. Who did he vote for? He didn't vote! He has never even registered! Naughty Boy!

14. Who is his best friend? Besides me, his brother, Spencer

15. How many states has he lived in? One! Utah born and raised! Poor boy!

16. You bake him a cake for his birthday, what kind of cake? I wouldn't bake him a cake! I would go out and buy him his favorite, Marzipan! Or I would buy him and ice cream cake from Baskin Robbins!

17. Did he play any sports in high school? No he didn't! He should have though!

18. What could he spend hours doing? Watching sports and playing video games on the PS3!

19. Does he belong to any men's organizations? Ha ha! Most definitely not! Al is not the 'frat' boy type!

Snowboarding.....FINALLY!

Yesterday Al and I went snowboarding at the Canyons! They finally have a decent amount of snow but they still only have one lift open! It was definitely one of the coldest days I've ever encountered snowboarding! I am a huge wuss and hate being cold! On the lifts I was freezing and thought that my face was going to fall off! It was so crowded that we only lasted a few hours! Hopefully this week they open up more of the mountain!

Celiac Disease Sucks!

Last night we went to dinner at Benihana's for Clark's birthday! We had a great time but I made a terrible mistake! I decided to try out some miso soup! Bad idea! I thought that I wouldn't get sick from it because its usually soy based! Wrong! I found out the hard way that it can contain barley! It definitely did and now I'm paying for it dearly! Celiac disease sucks so bad! I am so sick today and that miso soup wasn't even that good! I would have rather eaten a piece of pizza for how sick I am! That might have been worth it! Never again will I have miso soup!!!

Starting to Panic!

I'm seriously starting to panic! I haven't even thought about Christmas shopping yet! I haven't gotten one present yet and Christmas is in 15 days! I am the worlds biggest procrastinator I swear! I'm always out finishing my shopping on Christmas Eve and I swore that I was going to get my shopping done early this year! ( that sure didn't happen, I suck! )

I haven't even decorated our house yet! Our house is a complete and utter disaster! I was sick for the last week and a half and I didn't feel like cleaning or decorating! But I have to get our decorations up this week or it wont even be worth it! Looks like I've got a very busy week ahead of me!

Christmas Sweater

I love this sweater from Abercrombie! I think I need a cute sweater for Christmas day! I always see such cute Christmas sweaters and never get them because I usually can't justify wearing it only one day! But I don't care! I've wanted this sweater for a month now!

New Orleans Here We Come!!

We are headed to the Sugar Bowl! It's not Florida but New Orleans will be so fun! I'm so excited to see all the fun sites! New Years will be crazy there!

We are planning on staying on Bourbon Street in the heart of the French Quarters!

It would be fun to go on a ferry ride on the Mississippi! I wonder if I could talk Al into that!

A Tour of all the Haunted houses and places in New Orleans would be so fun! This house is called the Casa Do Diabo, the devils house! It looks scary!

Lights On!!

Every year Alex's family on his mom's side has their family Christmas party on the first Saturday of December, its called lights on. This year we went to Temple Square to look at the lights! The lights are always so beautiful! Then we went to Al's Grandma's and Grandpa's to eat dinner and open presents! Every year all the grandkids get new Christmas pajamas! Its the first Christmas party of the year and we always have so much fun!

Christmas Tag

This really is going to be one of the last tags that I do but I couldn't resist a Christmas themed one! I love Christmas and I thought this would be a fun way to get into the Christmas spirit!

1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? Wrapping paper of course!

2. Real tree or Artificial? Real tree, Al's dad, Marky always goes up to the cabin and cuts trees down every year, he is so nice to us, he always gets us one!

6. Favorite gift received as a child? My dad made me a doll house that I absolutely loved!

9. Do you have a nativity scene? I have a couple! Al's mom, Julie gave me one that I love and my dear mother gave me one as well! When I was a kid putting up the nativity scene was always my favorite job of decorating, my mom still lets me put up hers at her house every year!

10. Mail or email Christmas cards? No, I'm an awful grandchild! This year I'm going to change that and send my grandparents Christmas cards!

11. Worst Christmas gift you ever received? I can't think of anything?

12. Favorite Christmas Movie? Love Actually and White Christmas ( I just barely watched White Christmas last year for the first time with Koali and now I absolutely love it! )

13. When do you start shopping for Christmas? Maybe the second week of December? I'm a huge procrastinator!

14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? Nope not yet?

15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? Everything!

16. Lights on the tree? Of course! who doesn't put lights on their trees? Alex is the best husband ever and he always puts the lights on for me! They always look perfect!

Just Hanging Out

I never get to see April ( my other big sister ) so I was so happy that she came and hung out with us! We had such a fun night just hanging out and talking! I'm sporting my new 'do' thanks to Nat! After chopping off 9 inches, I love my short hair!
