Sammy's Birthday Party!!

Sammy turned 5 this week! Well, we at least think she did! We got Samantha from the pound 3 years ago! We decided to celebrate her birthday on the day we got her since we don't really know what her birth date is!

I decided to through her a little Birthday Party since she is now 5! We got her a yummy doggy pizza from Ma and Paws Bakery!

We had them write Sammy's name and age!

Canyons, YOU SUCK!!

The Canyons has decided to close on Easter Sunday! I can't believe they are closing this early! I am so disappointed in them! They have gotten so much snow recently and are closing way too early!


Park City is not the place to snowboard! They get half as much snow as Brighton and Snowbird and close 1 to 2 months earlier! Oh well, next year I am going to consider Brighton instead! Its half the size but for some strange reason I love it so much more!

Kickball...

This year Alex is playing on a kickball team! His first game was last night! He is playing with his brother Spencer, his uncle Johnny Cakes, and his aunt Laurie! Their team is called the French Kicklers! I went and watched the game last night and it was pretty silly how into it everyone gets! It definitely made me feel like a kid again, cheering them all on! They tied the game but in their defense they played last years champions!

Easter Eggy's!

The last few years since we have been married we always decorate Easter Eggs! We always invite Trevor over to join us! We had so much fun dying our Easter Eggs! The boys had way too much fun writting silly things on their eggs with the clear crayon they give you in the kit!

Silly boys! I love decorating Easter Eggy's! Lilly kept trying to get the dye! Naughty dog!

I give up!!

I give up!! (well for right now at least!) I have been trying to read The Host for months! I cannot get into it! I bet that its going to be a great read but right now I'm giving up on it and reading something else!

Traffic School...LAME!!

Tonight I get to go to Traffic School! I'm pretty upset about this! I got a ticket that in my opinion was wrongfully given! I went and argued my case and the mean lady at the court house wouldn't listen so I figured why would the judge! I was so lucky that I got the ticket to be half of what it was! But I am still pretty bent over this issue! At least it wont be on my record because I'm attending Traffic School! So LAME!!

Sunscreen

So, I am starting to think that I'm allergic to some types of sunscreen! Yesterday when we got back from snowboarding I had hives on my face! I have gotten hives on my face only once before and I had put sunscreen on my face that time as well! Random I know, but it is getting annoying! How many allergies can one person have!? Any ideas of what the ingredient would be that I'm allergic to?

Snowboarding with my Lover!

Yesterday Al and I went snowboarding and I actually remembered to bring our camera! We had so much fun!!

It was such a great day! There was so much powder! We decided to go through some trees and I got stuck in the powder and couldn't get out! It was pretty funny! I had to dig myself out and then do backward somersaults to get out of it! This was after when I was completely exhausted so we just lay in the snow for a bit relaxing!


I am determined to hit a rail like this! I use to be way braver and now I'm a huge wuss! I taught Alex to snowboard last year and already he gets way bigger air and does rails! Boys suck! I have been snowboarding for 10 years and he is already better than me!!

Craft Day!!

Sara and I decided that we wanted to do a craft day every month! I am not exactly the definition of a 'crafty' person but I have decided to try anyway! Yesterday Sara and I had our first craft day! It went surprisingly well! We decided to make these cute fabric covered bulletin boards!

First we painted our picture frames! I chose a very pretty dark brown! We had to do 3 coats of paint so the wood wouldn't show through!


This is after the first coat of paint and mine doesn't look too cute! It looked much cuter after the 3rd coat!


Then we hot glued the cork board onto the card board that comes in the frame!


We decided to do 2 layers of cork board and that worked out perfectly! We had just the right amount to do two layers!

Then we folded the fabric over the card board, we hot glued it in place and then tacked down the corners to make them look prettier!

Here is the final product! They turned out really cute! (I could not take a straight picture of it to save my life!!) I have decided that I'm going to put a few pictures of Al and I on it! I'm thinking sepia pictures would look really cute!

I can't wait until our next craft day! We had so much fun!!

Buffy the Vampire Slayer

This was another one of my favorite movies as a kid! I loved it but at the same time I was kinda scared of it! I don't know why but for some reason I was terrified of Vampires! I hardly even remember this movie, so I recorded it the other day and I'm going to watch it tonight while Alex is working!





I'm so excited to watch it! I totally remember these parts of the movie! I hope it is as good (and scary) as I remembered! The early 90's had some awesome movies!!

Ghost

The other day Alex did a quick load of laundry, we were watching a movie and totally forgot about the clothes in there! (I don't like to leave the clothes in the washer for a long time or they will smell like mildew!!) Alex ran back to put the clothes in the dryer and when he got back there the clothes had been washed but for some strange reason the lid was up on the washer! How in the world does that happen? I think that we have a ghost living in our house! We always have weird things happen that we can't explain! Alex's parents house is totally haunted and maybe that ghost followed us to our house?

Green Street Hooligans

Last week Al and I watched Green Street Hooligans! It was such a great movie! Al and I loved it and would highly recommend it anyone! I can't wait to buy this movie! I was shocked at how good it was and it now is up there on my list of favorite movies! And Charlie Hunnam is so cute and I might have a new celebrity crush!

No more Chai!!

I am a Big Train Chai addict! I have a serious problem! I quit drinking Chai in the middle of January and I had my first chai in 2 and a half months this week and it was just as amazing as I remembered! But the problem is that my gigantic love for chai was making me very fat! It has SO many calories and carbs its a bit ridiculous! So, I am quitting chai again! My goal is to make it at least 6 months this time without one sip! I hope I can do it! Good bye old friend! I will miss you dearly!!

Happy April Fools Day!!

Happy April Fools Day everybody!! I use to LOVE April Fools day when I was a kid! It was one of the best holidays ever! You could play as many mean tricks as you wanted and couldn't get in too much trouble for doing them! It was awesome! Here is a list of my Top 5 favorite April Fools Day Pranks!!


1. Tacks on the toilet seat! Its a bit mean so I prefer saran wrap on the toilet seat messy but not cruel!














2. Rubber band around the kitchen sink sprayer! A classic that never gets old!! (I got my Mom with that one so many times!!)














3. Toothpaste in the middle of the Oreo's










4. Changing the color of the water (I would recommend using brown to freak everyone out!)














5. Last but not least fake dog poo! It never gets old!
