I hate the flu! Why is it that I always have to get sick with the flu or a cold at least once during the summer!? I hate it! There is always so much going on! It seriously sucks being left out of all the fun!! I have been sick for a few days now and I'm ready to get better! NOW!!
I have now known 2 people that I work with that have had swine flu! If I have it I'm going to be very upset! Cross your fingers that I just have the good old version of the flu! No swine flu allowed!
Last night Al and I went to see The Ugly Truth with Sara and Jon! It was so funny! I absolutely loved it! Everyone that had seen it said that it was so crass and crude! It was hilarious! It was quite crude but I think that type of humor is funny! So if you offend easily then don't go see it! I can not wait to buy it when it is out on DVD!
Oh my gosh! This scene was one of my favorite parts! It was so funny! I laughed so hard! I really want to go see it again now!
Today I had a Starburst for the first time in over 3 years! They are now gluten free! I LOVE Starbursts so much and now I can eat them whenever I want! I love it that so many things that I love are starting to be made gluten free! It makes life so much easier!
I love this game! It is so fun! It is one of my favorites! The only problem is that I'm a huge Harry Potter nerd and the only person that is actually competition for me is my cousin Ailsa, who is on a mission! So I haven't played in months! Does anyone want to play? I don't own that many games and I feel like its a waste for this awesome game to be just sitting in my laundry room ignored! I think I should plan a game night and play a bunch of different games! This one will have to be on the agenda so I can win at least one time!
Our trip to Vegas started off quite rocky! At 3:30 am on friday we decided that it would be impossible for us to get on a flight! They were all full! So Al made a game time decision and we left the house to start driving to Vegas at 4:00 am! 
I slept until we got to Cedar City, it was lovely for me but Al was a bit grumpy! He didn't sleep at all on thursday night! What a sweet boy, he drove the entire way!
We made it safely to St. George and lucky for us Checker was open on the holiday! Al got us a pretty new battery for my car and put it in all by himself! So proud!!
Finally we made it to Vegas! We stayed at the Tropicana! It was pretty ghetto! It is a really confusing hotel! We got lost a few times trying to find our way around!
Al and I went exploring! We went and walked around all the shops and just hung out! Us in front of Treasure Island!

This made all of us die of laughter! Our friend Ian moved to Vegas a few months ago and he came and hung out with us all weekend! We were walking down the strip and he thought it would be a great idea to put one of these stickers he made on this Ferrari! It was pretty funny!

The boys decided to walk me back to the room, it seriously took an hour to get back because we had to keep stopping to take pictures! This is Alex and Ian being awesome hanging out in some random persons truck!

We couldn't find our room so this kind gentleman pointed us in the right direction so we had to take a picture with him to show our gratitude!
The pool at the Tropicana was the only part of the hotel that was really nice! I loved the pool! It was so cool!

It surprisingly wasn't that hot! It was only 105! It was really overcast and humid!
There was a fun arcade by the pool so we decided we had to play some dance dance revolution! I'm being a total dork! All the boys came to watch us play!
After swimming we hurried and got ready to head out to dinner! We went to Dick's Last Resort. It was ok, we had heard good things about it but it wasn't that great in my opinion. 
After dinner we watched this random band play, we were tired of walking around already so we sat for a while and watched! The boys found some balloons and that gave them hours of entertainment! This is the best picture I got of them playing with it! Silly boys!

It was so humid so we stood in front of a fan for at least 10 minutes and we captured this amazing photo! 
We had a great time in Vegas! But after being with all the boys, I'm really ready for a girls trip! Nice and relaxing! 
These power stations are the best inventions ever! Last year Al's mom and dad gave us one of these for Christmas! Best gift ever! I cannot even begin to tell you how helpful these are! My car battery is totally dead and I've been waiting for my dad to fix it... All I have to do is hook this up to my battery and it jumps my car in seconds! It is so awesome! It also has an air compressor to fill up a flat tire! I really think that every single woman definitely needs one of these! I'm considering buying my mother one! It is so wonderful!!
The other day Al and I watched Coraline! It was such a great movie! I absolutely loved it! I was a bit disappointed that we didn't get to watch it in 3d on the big screen! It would have been that much better! I really enjoyed the movie but I thought some of the images in it would have been too scary for some kids! It was a great movie and I'm sure someday I will buy it!
We used 12x12 art canvas! We wrapped it in fabric like a present and hot glued it down! In some of the corners we had to tack it down to get it really tight!

Happy Pioneer day!! I have always loved Pioneer Day! It always meant that we would have a bbq and swim party at Mom's! It was an excuse to eat delicious food, hang out with the family, swim, and do more fireworks! I hope that everyone has a great Pioneer Day!
We are off to Vegas!! Yay!! We leave tomorrow morning bright and early! Our flight leaves at 7:30 so we will still have the entire day to play! We are going with a bunch of our friends! I love Vegas! I love the food, the shopping, the warmth, the pools, and the people watching! I am so excited! I haven't been to Vegas since October of last year! That's pretty sad since we can fly there for free! I'm so excited! I really need a vacation! Even if it is just for the weekend!
Veet is such a wonderful invention! I absolutely love it! It works wonders! I have been an avid Veet user for years now! I really hate shaving! My legs only stay smooth for a day at most! But with Veet it burns the hair right off and my legs stay smooth for at least a week! Its pretty much the same thing as Nair but isn't as harsh on your skin! If you have sensitive skin, Veet is not for you! I love Veeting my arms! I seriously have some of the hairiest arms in the world! Lucky for me the hair is blond but still I don't appreciate it one bit! You really should try Veet! It is amazing!!
When I was a kid I absolutely LOVED this book! It was definitely one of my favorites! The other day when I was at the Premiere of Harry they showed the preview for this movie!!
I am so excited! The preview looks so cute! I can not wait! It comes out in theaters October 16th! I am going to have to read the book to freshen my mind! I'm sure its somewhere in all the kid books at my moms! I gotta go dig around for it! October feels too far away!!
Yesterday Sara and I ran to grab a quick lunch... Not quite! I swear I have the worst luck in the entire world! We ran into T.G.I.Fridays to pick up our salads and then we were going to head back to the office to eat! We got in my car and it was completely dead! It wouldn't start!! It's not like I have an old car! It's a 2006! I have never had a problem with it and just like that it was completely dead! Of course Al was working so we were stranded! I called Marky, Al's dad and he came and rescued me! What a great Father-in-law!!! We tried to jump it... it took four tries before it actually started! Now it runs fine when we jump it but then wont start on its own! Cross your fingers that it is only a dead battery!
Al and I rented Push the other day! Alex fell asleep about 20 minutes into it! So I decided to finished it without him! I was actually pleasantly surprised! I totally thought that it would suck! I had heard good things about it so I watched it regardless! I thought it was really entertaining! It was a lot like Heroes so maybe that was why I liked it! I was a bit disappointed how it just ends... It makes you want more to the story! All in all, not my favorite movie of the year but definitely worth watching!
